Challenge the Ping Pong Champions at Brunswick this Christmas

Club players from Scarborough Table Tennis Premier Club will be at Brunswick’s Ping Pong Parlour on Saturday 28th December from 10 am until 3 pm. The ‘Challenge, a Champion’ event aims to showcase table tennis, encourage people to get active, play sport and showcase what the Scarborough club has to offer the local community.

A special demonstration table will set up at Brunswick where members of the public will be able to watch the local sports elite play. Club members involved on the day will include nationally-ranked juniors including the current Under 11’s Girls National Champion and a former Inter-County Champion; the #1 Men’s player in the Scarborough Table Tennis League and club’s Head Coach, Ashley Hodgson.

Visitors to the Centre will also be able to challenge the club’s players to games, get some tips or just have some family fun at Brunswick’s Ping Pong Parlour, a dedicated play space that has been created on the ground floor mall and will be in place at the Centre well into the new year.
