News — FRESH NEW LOOK FOR SCARBOROUGH’S BRUNSWICK SHOPPING CENTRE

The Brunswick Shopping Centre in Scarborough has undergone a brand refresh to reflect its “growth and evolution” as the Yorkshire Coast’s premier retail and leisure destination.

Now simply known as the ‘Brunswick’, the centre’s logo has been recreated in a more modern typeface, with new colour palette and photographic styling.

Owner Scarborough Group, which purchased the centre in August 2021, enlisted the help of integrated creative place, marketing and customer experience agency, Bewonder* to deliver the project. The agency has an enviable track record, having worked on some transformational projects across the globe including London Dock, 1 Central in downtown Dubai and One International Towers in Sydney.

Nicola Bulley, Head of Corporate and Commercial Marketing and Communications at Scarborough Group, said:

“The purpose of the brand refresh was to create a more modern, vibrant look and feel that better showcases our strategic vision for the centre. The name change also symbolises its growth and evolution away from a pure shopping centre to a more experiential retail and leisure destination, yet retains a sense of familiarity and simplicity by maintaining the recognisable ‘Brunswick’ name.

“Bewonder* has done a fantastic job of responding to our brief, creating an identity that we are all really proud of.”

Visitors to the Brunswick’s website and social media channels will be the first to see the refreshed look, with new signage and window displays due to be installed later this year, and creative advertising campaigns and on-site activities being prepared for launch in the New Year.
